Stone Cleaning

Stone Cleaning Brisbane & Gold Coast

Stone surfaces are a wow factor for any home. But as stone surfaces are porous liquids, dirt, grime and other substances easily settle into the pores of the surface. To keep the “wow factor” your stone surface started with regular cleaning is required, so it’s good practice to clean your stone surface every week.

Even with regular cleaning and good home maintenance, your stone surface will have wear, staining and a build-up of dirt and grime leaving your stone surface dark and dull. When this happens, you can still bring the life back to your stone by having a professional deep clean the surface. Marble Everlast provides a stone cleaning service to the Gold Coast and Brisbane. We are your local stonemasons based on the Gold Coast that can restore, repair, clean, grind, hone, polish and seal your stone surfaces.

Stone Restoration Before & Afters

Know Your Stone Types

Stone Benchtop Cleaning Specialist Gold Coast and Brisbane

Stone Benchtop Cleaning

Stone benchtop cleaning is a service that we offer when you have encountered a problem that regular cleaning won’t fix. We can repair damage such as burn marks, etching, chips, cracks, slight discolouration and just an accumulation of dirt build-up.

Stone Floor Cleaning

Stone floors being high traffic areas break down over time with dirt and grime build-up, scratches, deep scratches, etching and small holes. We offer an extensive cleaning service to bring your floors back to the sheen they once had.

Bathroom Stone Cleaning

It’s essential not to use standard supermarket cleaning solutions or products on your stone bathroom surfaces as these can damage your stone. If your stone bathroom surfaces are starting to look a bit dirty from mould, soap scum or black spots its time to call in the professionals.

Stone Paver / Tile Cleaning

We offer tile/paver cleaning services that cover stone mould removal, stone staining removal, resurfacing, honing, sealing and anti-bacterial stone treatments. Some of the common outdoor stone surfaces we work with include Travertine, Sandstone, Terracotta, Marble and Granite.

Pool Stone Tile Cleaning

Stone tiles and pavers around your pool are very exposed to weathering, pool water and chemicals. Because of this, they can be more susceptible to damage from constant contact with water, pool chemicals and weathering. We recommend having a good stone maintenance schedule to improve the lifespan of your poolside stonework.

Stone Driveway Cleaning

Stone driveways can quickly look dirty and dull due to air pollutants causing soot on the surface, Engine oil causing staining, tyre tracks from wet roads, high traffic wear and erosion. We have significant experience working with stone driveways. Some of the typical driveway surfaces we work with include granite, marble, terracotta, epoxy resin, cobblestone, concrete, block paving and decorative brick driveways.

Common Stone Types

Granite

Granite is the most common igneous rock found on the earth surface. It’s a coarse-grained igneous rock made of quartz and feldspars with small amounts of other materials. Granite is commonly used for benchtops, pavers, curbing, stair treads, building veneer and cemetery stonework.

Marble

Marble is a metamorphic rock that has physically and chemically transformed due to intense heat and pressure. Marble is commonly limestone that recrystallised through this process, and the veining throughout marble are mineral deposits that settled during the transformation.

Cobblestone

Cobblestones are river rocks used for paving and outdoor applications. The round, smooth edges are created as running water, and smaller rocks erode the stone surface. They are often a highly durable stone such as basalt and granite and have been used for roadways, driveways and footpaths for centuries.

Travertine

Travertine is a type of limestone deposited by mineral springs and limestone caves. It is made from a chemical mixture high in calcium carbonate that sets, compresses and forms what we know as travertine.

Sandstone

Sandstone is a type of rock made mostly from sand and other sediments, formed over centuries in lakes, rivers and the ocean floor. Sandstone is commonly used for outdoor pavers, poolside areas, retaining walls, kitchens, bathrooms and decorative applications.

Limestone

Limestone like sandstone, is a sedimentary rock and varies in density. It is mostly calcium carbonate which forms from the solidification of chemical solutions. As the chemicals in limestone are mainly calcium carbonate, limestone has a chemical reaction with acidic cleaning products and is damaged.
